Summer running gives athletes/runners a chance to log miles with fellow teammates in a safe and social environment. Running with a group has many benefits such as providing a safe environment to run, team bonding, competition, and social aspects.
Summer running involves dedication, commitment, and most of all - time management.
To be a great runner, one must plan their entire day around there run. When and what you eat, activities you do during the day, and when you should be in bed all depend on when you are running. Take care of your run and the rest of the day is yours!

Everyone is encouraged to attend as much as possible. Although summer running is voluntary, it is highly encouraged especially if you are planning on attending Cross Country Camp. Get into a routine of running with the coaches and the team and success will come during the season.
Make your run top priority each and every day!
I will be adding a training plan for those to follow throughout the summer months.
