GO BLUE DEVILS!!!!!

    Head Coach: Jeremy Huth

Coach Huth is in his sixth season as head coach of the men's and women's cross country team.  He has been with the program for the past 8 years.  Huth came to Tallmadge from Streetsboro City Schools where he lead the men's cross country team to a regional berth in just his second season and advanced an individual runner to the state cross country meet.  Two season ago, Jaclyn Koza and Travis LeVan each qualified to the state meet under his leadership.  Last season Huth lead seniors Jackie Koza and Nicole Miller along with Freshman Patrick Ferguson to the Regional Meet.  Jaclyn Koza capped of a stellar XC career capturing all school records at the 5K level and went on to break the 3200 and 1600 meter records in Track under Huth's tutelage.

Huth is a graduate of Kent State University with a major in education.  He received his masters degree from Kent State in 2005 in Adminstration.

Coach Huth graduated from Waterloo High School in Portage County where he earned all league honors and qualified to the regional meet two years in a row in track and cross country.  Currently, Huth competes in local road races, 1/2 and full marathons, and dualathlons.  At the age of 32, Huth clocked a personal best in the 5k with a time of 16:30.  His best marathon came in 2010 in Columbus in a time of 2 hours, 47 minutes.

   Assistant Coach:  Krista Reich

Coach Reich is in her third season as assistant coach for the men's and women's cross country team.  She is a 2004 graduate of Tallmadge High School where she ran cross country and track.  She was on the women's team who qualified to the Regional meet in both 2002 and 2003.  She recieved All-Ohio Honors during her senior track season by qualifying to the State Track Meet in the 4x800.  Coach Reich was inducted into the Tallmadge Track & Field Hall of Fame.

Her favorite thing about coaching is watching these young men and women develop a love for running.  Seeing them develop and allowing them to see how far they can push themselves is always a great thing to witness.  Everyone can experience success in cross country, and she loves seeing each person experience their own level of success.  One of her favorite quotes comes from an unknown coach, "Only one person and one person only can determine how good of a runner you will become...you will become as good as you let yourself be.  That one person is you."

Reich is a 2008 graduate of The University of Mount Union where she earned her B.A. in Middle Childhood Education.  She taught sixth grade for three years at Chapel Hill Christian School, and is currently a Reading Tutor at Munroe Elementary in Tallmadge.  Her love for running has pushed her to run three marathons.  One of these days she hopes to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
