Runners-

After taken time off away from running, it is now that time to start thinking about lacing up the shoes and getting back out on the roads and trails.  With a well deserved break, hopefully the thought of running has crossed your mind a time or two.  Our winter running program will start up Tuesday, December 1st with a short meeting to go over expectations.   On Tuesday and Thursdays we will be hosting a running club for the middle school kids at the Tallmadge Rec Center (3-4pm).  At our middle school meeting, we had around 35 kids interested in joining the club - I would expect to see around 15 kids actually participate.  Those who help out with this will receive a nice Nike long sleeve running shirt.

This is the time of year where champions are made.  Increasing strength, mental toughness, and developing the passion (love) of running is made in the off-season.  Grab a buddy, get them to come to the sessions, and lets develop something special for the up coming track season.
